About the Journal
Ijtihad : Journal of Islamic Law Studies is an academic journals published three times a year by the Yayasan Untuk Negeri in collaboration with Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Doktoral Hukum Islam (HMP S3 HUKI) Graduate School UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. This journal emphasizes specifications in the discourse of Islamic Law and Humanity, and communicates actual and contemporary research and problems with regard to Islamic studies. This journal openly accepts the contributions of experts from related disciplines. All published articles do not necessarily represent the views of journals, or other institutions that have links to journal publications.
Ijtihad: Journal of Islamic Law Studies specializes in Islamic law and is intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines.
